Harness inspection and electrical testing

Each finished harness is checked to the customer specification. The test scope reflects the application, risk and documentation requirements.

Finished harness inspection

We compare the wiring with the specification, inspect the workmanship and test the required electrical properties.

  • Workmanship and wiring checked against the specification
  • Visual inspection
  • Electrical testing to the agreed scope
  • Results recorded as required

Test records

Inspection results are stored with the production records. For repeat orders, they also provide a quality history across batches.

Testing matched to the harness Simple harnesses may need only workmanship and visual checks. More complex or safety-critical assemblies can include extended electrical testing and documentation.
